Conduct of Business:

Federal firearms license holder(s)for DAC (DAC) operate under & conform to all rules & regulations set forth in §US CFR Title 27: Alcohol, Tobacco Products and Firearms, Chapter II, Subchapter B , Part 478, Subpart F (https://regulations.atf.gov/478)

Out-of-State & Internet Sales — §478.96

It is illegal to ship firearms to anyone not holding an active Federal Firearms License (FFL).

For that reason, firearms purchased via Internet & MOTO may picked up at our store by Oregon residents or shipped to an FFL near you. We will contact and verify the FFL you select during checkout before we ship your firearm(s).

Sale of Ammunition — 18 §922(b)(1)

You must be 18 or older to purchase rifle or shotgun ammunition & 21 or older to purchase handgun ammunition. All ammunition will be ground shipped with adult signature required. Always make sure to use the correct ammunition for your specific firearms.

Check your local laws for any other regulations.

Delivery by Common/Contract Carrier — §478.31

All orders are shipped from our in-store inventory or distributor/vendor(s) warehouses or within 1-10 business days using UPS, FedEx, or USPS. Tracking numbers are available for items shipped via UPS and FedEx.

Shipping is included (not free) on firearms. They ship individually via the USPS.
For everything else, you choose which method you want.

CERTIFIED TASER TRAINING

Lethal force isn't for everyone and shouldn't be the default for anyone. TASERs are an excellent self-defense tool for personal safety and a great alternative to lethal force. TASERs are a non-lethal self-defense tool that when used correctly, can fully incapicate an attacker for 30 seconds or more allowing for a safe escape. This DAC class will teach you how to properly handle and use the device, as well as provide you with the knowledge and skills necessary to make quick and effective decisions in high-stress situations. We offer First Aid/CPR/AED course options designed to prepare students to provide basic First Aid, CPR, and AED for all ages (adult/child/infant) in a safe, timely, and effective manner. These online/instructor led courses includes hands-on practice and testing. Upon successful completion, students receive an certification valid for two years. Firmly grounded in Kung-Fu and Ninjutsu, the DAC self-defense programs is not a classic martial arts system. Martial arts systems are usually a complex series of physical exercise, history and sport fighting and their actual self-defense use can takes years to become proficient at.

Self-defense is more about defending yourself physically or verbally against an attacker. The DAC includes soft skills such as verbal aggression management, body language, awareness of attack, avoidance of attack, crime prevention, threat management and de-escalation along with a minimal set of techniques to get you out of a majority of situations. Something you can master in months, not years of study.

IN-PERSON SAFETY TRAINING

When properly trained and deployed, OC Spray is one of the most powerful self-defense tools available.

DAC provides two types of personal safety training courses led by certified instructors - the Civilian Safety "OC Practical" course and the College Safety Program. Our trained and certified instructors designed classes to educate on everyday safety techniques for college students and independent adults in realistic situations not canned "guaranteed success" type training.

Integrating Movement & Power evolved from an observation of a significant missing component in the realm of self-defense training. The fundamentals of awareness, reaction timing, basic blocking, striking, evasion and the generation of power are a necessary part of self defense regardless of the tools used. This class teaches those important skills and it is up to YOU to integrate YOUR force multiplier into the techniques you've learned. Normally, firearm, TASER or OC Spray class is a prerequisite for this course but based on your situation and experience, exceptions can be made.

Our Home Defense class is a unique class which integrates parts of the C.A.R.E and Refuse to be a Victim courses as they apply to your specific world and home. Security, lighting, and even landscaping is discussed while helping you to safely integrate your home defense options to create a functional and practical home defense plan. Due to the uniqueness of this class, the class time can vary. Booking this class will not incur any charges prior to the class. Anticipate 2 to 3 hours.

If self-defense training isn't right for you, we offer the NRA Marksmanship Simulator Course. The course teaches basic marksmanship fundamentals and firearm safety using a simulated pistol with a resetting trigger and laser to indicate where the shots hit. The NRA Pistol Marksmanship Simulator Training Course teaches the fundamentals of sight alignment, trigger control, grip, and breath control. At the completion of the course, an NRA participation certificate is awarded.

Date Night is a spinoff of our Firearm Fundamentals class designed for couples. The is designed as a starting point to develop the neural pathways and develop muscle memory to build the skills and confidence to handle firearms safely. This class normally runs just a little bit longer than the regular fundamentals class but the second student does not incur any hourly class charges, just ammo costs.

Date Night covers how to manipulate a firearm, clear it properly and handle it safely. You will learn the foundation of self-study and practice to ensure these skills are ready in a crisis situation.

Beyond CHL is a series of classes each running about 2 hours each building on the previous. This is designed to give you the skills and confidence to safely carry a firearm into public space. Skills taught will include basic holster presentation and proximity training transitioning through retention, 360 degree decision support training and moving firearm use, on to ground and vehicular defenses. Alternative techniques and skills to avoid the use of deadly force, unless there are positively no other options, will also be a focus.
